Abstract

The article aims to analyze the positions of France and Great Britain on the evolution of the EU European Security. The revision of both of these positions, its multidimensionality and complexity show how diverse are the visions of national security, the role and importance of the CSDP and the European Union (EU) itself in shaping security in Europe. The article presents an analysis of the concept of European security in the context of the definition of the EU Strategic Compass. Also, it shows how France and Great Britain are ready to work together to strengthen security.
