The Geopolitics of Turkey
The intervention after a historical reminder on Turkey’s strategic positioning since the founding of the Republic, analyzes the latest developments in Ankara’s foreign policy, in particular the wide gap between its membership in NATO and its recent rapprochements with Russia. The presentation will also observe more concretely the positioning of Ankara in regional areas (Syria, Iraq, Eastern Mediterranean or Libya) and in peripheral areas such as the Caucasus or Africa.
Diplomatie Magazine
Diplomatie is the main French magazine dedicated to international and strategic affairs. Diplomatie was founded in January 2003 by the French geographer and political scientist Alexis Bautzmann, who is its editor-in-chief. This bimonthly magazine is distributed in France in newsstands and bookstores and in more than 40 foreign countries. Diplomatie is a magazine of analysis and reflection which covers international and strategic news through the analysis of experts and foreign political, economic and military figures. The magazine combines numerous maps and illustrations with texts and publishes an annual geostrategic atlas as well as a report on conflicts in the world. One of the particularities of Diplomatie magazine is its editorial independence, its wide distribution. Since 2021, the magazine is accessible via the JSTOR platform (JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million academic journal or articles to 1 500 institutions around the world). Being part of this platform is a quality guarantee.
