La rencontre se tiendra en anglais.
Dr Guillaume de Rougé will present the challenges of European defense from a french perspective. He will try to respond: what are the challenges and opportunities for European defense in the context of the new “post-post-Cold War” era opened with the Russo-Ukrainian crisis, Brexit and the lasting evolutions of American policy, beyond the parenthesis Trump?
Three areas will be studied: institutional, operational and capability issues, giving priority to conventional issues without however forgetting the dimension of nuclear deterrence.
